Rigol Chipset26 June 2017 - RIGOL Technologies announced its new Phoenix Oscilloscope chipset and the Ultravision II oscilloscope architecture. These technology innovations, years in development, are intended to help transform the RIGOL portfolio allowing RIGOL to address the needs of higher performance applications. The ASICs are based entirely on RIGOL IP and were developed entirely inhouse.

RS ScopeRider Handheld20 June 2017 - Rohde & Schwarz has enhanced its R&S Scope Rider handheld oscilloscope, adding triggering and decoding software for the CAN flexible data rate (CAN-FD) and single edge nibble transmission (SENT) bus systems. It is currently the only portable oscilloscope capable of analyzing CAN, LIN, CAN-FD and SENT bus signals, making it the perfect tool for troubleshooting automotive applications – from commissioning to drive tests.

Tek 400G PAM414 June 2017 – Tektronix has expanded its line-up of PAM4 test solutions to include comprehensive 400G electrical compliance testing for OIF-CEI-56G VSR/MR/LR PAM4 standards. The new 400G-TXE software package runs on high-performance Tektronix DPO70000SX Real-Time Oscilloscopes; a lineup of models which go up to 70 GHz in bandwidth. The automated turnkey solution performs PAM4 compliance test sweeps in a single pass for shorter test times, more reliable and repeatable results, and greater ease of use.

Yokogawa DL350 modules13 June 2017 - Yokogawa launched the DL350 ScopeCorder, a combination of oscilloscope and data recorder. The DL350 ScopeCorder offers the same high reliability and precision as the high-end DL850E and DL850EV models, yet is optimized for the performance testing and troubleshooting of products and equipment in the field. It weighs just 3.9 kg and uses many of the same plug-in modules as the DL850E.

Tektronix MSO58 00406 June 2017 – Tektronix has again broken through the innovation barrier with the introduction of the new 5 Series MSO mixed signal oscilloscope. The 5 Series MSO redefines the midrange oscilloscope with a host of innovations including the industry’s first FlexChannelTM technology that allows 4, 6 or 8 analog channels and up to 64 digital channels, integrated protocol analysis and signal generator, a new 12-bit signal acquisition system, a massive high-definition capacitive touch display, and a highly intuitive Direct Access user interface delivering unprecedented flexibility and unmatched visibility into complex embedded systems.

Tek IsoVu 218 May 2017 – In 2016, Tektronix set a new standard for power measurements by introducing IsoVu, a high performance, isolated measurement system with revolutionary 120 dB (1 Million-to-1) common mode rejection. Featuring six new models, the IsoVu family portfolio now includes products with both large differential and common mode voltage ranges. Users can now accurately measure a wide range of differential signals (5 mV to > 1,000 V) from DC to 800 MHz in the presence of large common mode voltages up to 60 kV.

RS RTO AWG16 May 2017 - Rohde & Schwarz is the first oscilloscope manufacturer to offer an integrated arbitrary waveform and pattern generator in the lab class. With the optional generator, all R&S RTO2000 and R&S RTE oscilloscopes can deliver test signals on two analog and eight digital channels, making it possible to test complex circuits in a minimum of space using a single instrument. Even fully automated compliance tests can be performed.

TiePie TP CC40012 May 2017 - TiePie engineering has added a new current clamp to its product portfolio, the Current Clamp TP-CC400. The Current Clamp will allow to measure electrical currents up to 400 A AC/DC. When measuring with this current clamp, there is no need to break a closed circuit or to affect the isolation. The wide jaws allow performing measurements on conductors up to 20 mm.
