Pico Linux12 March 2015 - Pico Technology released OS X and Linux beta versions of PicoScope software containing all the essential features of PicoScope for Windows. Pico is working on adding the more advanced features. PicoScope 6 and device drivers for Linux are now distributed via online repositories.

PicoScope r6.10.1.36 or r6.10.1.37 is available for both operating systems. Features include:

  • Scope, XY, spectrum and persistence views
  • Advanced digital triggers
  • Automated measurements
  • Signal generator with AWG editor
  • Resolution enhancement
  • Segmented waveform buffer
  • Zoom and pan
  • Signal, time and phase rulers

OS X drivers

  • Runs on OS X 10.9 and 10.10
  • All current PicoScope devices including the new PicoScope 3000D Series
  • USB PT-104, USB TC-08 and PicoLog CM3 data loggers

Linux drivers

  • For Debian 7.0 (wheezy) i386/amd64, Ubuntu 12.xx/13.xx i386/amd64, other Debian-based with mono ≥ 2.10.8.1
  • armhf drivers for Debian and BeagleBone Black
  • RPM packages
  • All current PicoScope devices including the new PicoScope 3000D Series
  • USB DrDAQ and PicoLog 1000 Series data loggers

The builds are not formally tested and should be considered beta quality. The Linux drivers do not fully support every function in every product.
