At the end of the abstract there is a link to the complete document on the website of the corresponding supplier.

You can use either a full text search or a filter function to find the document containing the information you are looking for:

  • Full Text Search: enter the word or character string you are looking for (suggestions will be displayed on typing). This search is performed only in the Oscilloscope KnowledgeBase of Oscopes.info
  • Filter Function: there are 3 dropdown filter functions available. All articles include tags for Application (e.g. Debugging, Bus Analysis, Power,...), Industry (e.g. Automotive, Research, Wireless,...), Author (i.e. oscilloscope supplier) and Type (Text, Youtube Video, Webinar). Best start using only one filter parameter. Keep in mind that "Industry" filter only includes tags if the document is focussing on a certain industry. Please use this filter only if needed!

In a load step test, a DC electronic load is used to provide a current load that steps from a low current draw to a higher value in a short period of time. By directly measuring the voltage and current output of the supply with the stepped load, we can visually observe the recovery of the power supply feedback loop and make changes to the design to optimize the response.
